UPDATE

It begins once again, my search for an agent has been at times laughable. I’ve received some crazy responses from people.

‘We’re not publishing men’

‘For the foreseeable future, we will be focusing on projects from the LGBTQ community.’

‘We’ve no interest in working alongside male writers at the moment, the industry is moving away from that.’

‘This project has real potential, have you a writer’s CV.’ — — — ‘There is real potential about this project, but you’re a new writer and it’s so hard to break new writers and I’ve no time for that right now,’

‘This has real potential, but you’ve no writing CV and to be honest. It’s hard to break someone in this industry, come back to me when you’ve something produced on TV,’

‘We don’t work with Cisgender WHITE males.’

I’ve even had some Anti-Irish comments believe it or not. Brexit has brought out some people’s true colours.

Moving on.

So I continue researching agents one website after the other, making phone calls and sending off a dozen or more emails a day. Maybe that’s just how the TV industry is, so I will continue.

Update

A Tale of Sorrow and Time.

I’ve really hit a wall in my progress, but I’ve worked through it, just now I need to go back and rewrite entire sections of the book. I was at the 75% marker, but this correction has pushed me back to the 50% mark. Not to worry, this usually happens. I do find I catch up quick enough when I stumble into trouble like this.

So for now, the writing continues.
